About me
Software Engineer at Rox, working on cloud infrastructure (Terraform, ECS, Kubernetes) and keeping the platform reliable and scalable. Previously at TikTok/ByteDance, where I built multi-cloud tooling in Go and Python: image validation across AWS/OCI/Azure/GCP, infrastructure analytics, and automated drift remediation.
I got hooked on tech in 2014. Started with a Linux box, broke things on Android, drifted through cybersecurity and web dev, and eventually landed where I belong: distributed systems, reliability, and making infrastructure invisible to the people building on top of it.
CS grad from Virginia Tech. I write about infrastructure at startup vs mega-corp scale, Kubernetes in production, and the messy reality of keeping systems alive.
Outside of work: table tennis, eating my way through every restaurant in the city, traveling, and an unreasonable amount of TV.
